Two autism groups have partnered to raise money to bring in Cooper, a service dog, to work full time with children with autism at a development center in Kansas City, Mo.
The staff says Cooper helps the kids calm down, improves their attitudes and helps improve their self-esteem. The development center and a charity, , want to raise $40,000 to cover Cooper's lifetime expenses so that he can dedicate his life to helping children with autism like he was trained to do.
