The first man to face charges in connection to Crystal Rogers' disappearance won't appear in court this week as scheduled.Joseph Lawson, 32, of Bardstown, has been indicted on conspiracy to commit murder and tampering with physical evidence in early September.Weeks later, Rogers' former boyfriend, Brooks Houck, was charged in her murder.Lawson was supposed to have a pretrial conference on Thursday in Nelson County, but it's been rescheduled to next year on Jan. 5. The order does not explain why it was moved.No details have been revealed about Lawson's alleged involvement.During Houck's last court appearance earlier this month, some bombshells were dropped. Hardin County Commonwealth's Attorney Shane Young, the special prosecutor on the case, dropped new information that he says could link Houck's family to the shooting of Rogers' father, Tommy Ballard.
