UofL to host Celebration of Life for Denny Crum at KFC Yum! Center
Following the recent death of former University of Louisville basketball coach Denny Crum, the school will be holding a celebration of life to honor him.
UofL announced on Wednesday that the celebration of life for Crum will be held at the KFC Yum! Center on Monday, May 15.
It will start at 7 p.m. and will be free and open to the public.

In lieu of flowers, they are asking people to donate to the Denny Crum Scholarship fund, , or to your favorite charity.
Crum died on Tuesday morning at his home. He was 86.
Funeral arrangements for Crum have also been made, with a visitation from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. and funeral service at 2 p.m. for friends and family being held at Southeast Christian Church on Monday.
There will be a private burial at Cave Hill Cemetery.
Crum coached the UofL men's basketball team from 1971 to 2001. He'll forever be remembered as the man who brought Louisville basketball to prominence, winning the school's first-ever national championship in 1980.
