Derby City Gaming is putting the finishing touches on its new downtown gaming center ahead of the grand opening next month. On Monday, DCG Downtown unveiled a new, naked-eye 3D video board outside the facility at the corner of Fourth and Market streets. The video board wraps around the corner of the building."There's not anything else like that on this corridor," DCG Downtown general manager Garth Williams said. "So we just see ourselves as enhancing the whole experience."The gaming center will feature two bars, a sportsbook, and historical horse racing games."It brings us into a new realm for entertainment, a new realm for attracting visitors and tourism to this great city," Williams said.Nearby businesses agree with that sentiment.
