Ethan the dog to 'throw' first pitch at Louisville Bats game
The Louisville Bats have tapped a local celebrity to "throw" the first pitch at Friday's game.
Despite his lack of opposable thumbs, Ethan the dog gets the sacred honor of taking the mound during the Bats' first "Hops & Hounds" event.
It's a new event that allows fans to watch a game with their four-legged friend while sampling beers from local breweries.
It's presented by Club K9 and the Louisville Ale Trail.
Ethan is the obvious choice, as his inspirational story of survival offered people hope during dark times this year.
For those who want to see him at the game,
If you get the Hops & Hounds ticket pack, you get the choice of three craft beers and a souvenir mug.
The Bats take on the Toledo Mud Hens at 7 p.m.
