Junior League of Louisville raising awareness, collecting donations for homeless youth
The Junior League of Louisville is raising awareness of youth experiencing homelessness in Louisville with a Little Black Dress Initiative.
From Monday, Feb. 19, through Sunday, Feb. 23, members of JLL will wear the same black dress or other black outfit for five consecutive days.
Supporters are encouraged to join the conversation about the significant effect homelessness has on youth in our community.
Donations can be made online
This year, the Junior League has partnered with Dress for Success, which aims to empower young women to achieve economic independence by providing a network of support and professional attire.
Professional clothing donations will be accepted Feb. 19 through Feb. 25 at the following Highland Cleaners locations:

- 4039 Taylorsville Road
- 2455 Bardstown Road
- 1401 Bardstown Road, #102
- 11600 Shelbyville Road
DFS will accept all donations, but the items most needed are:
