Louisville native Jacob Abel is ready to make his Indy 500 debut next weekend.Abel will be driving the No. 51 Miller High Life Honda for Dale Coyne Racing.Practice starts on Tuesday, with qualifying this weekend at the Brickyard."I'm really looking forward to the whole entire month. You know, I think we've prepared for this really well," Abel said. "You know, we've put a ton of work into it on all aspects of the team. Dale Coyne Racing knows what it takes to make a car faster around here."The 24-year-old is currently 27th in the Indycar standings, with 28 points in five starts this season.The 2025 Indy 500 is at 12:45 p.m. on Sunday, May 25.
