'A new level': $65M plan aims to transform Louisville Tennis Center
A massive $65 million renovation project is set to transform the historic Louisville Tennis Center at Joe Creason Park into a world-class complex.

"Taking it to a new level, but still honoring the past, where such tennis greats have played on these courts," said Jason Miller, executive director, USTA Kentucky.
To fund the project, Davis plans to secure a $20 million bond from the city council and raise private donations.
Construction is expected to begin in 2027, with the design influenced heavily by community feedback.
Public meetings are scheduled for Tuesday, May 6, at 6 p.m. at the Cyril Allgeier Community Center, with another session on Saturday, May 10, at a location yet to be announced.
