Rick and Beverly McCombs are retiring after 52 years of teaching together, marking the end of remarkable careers that have inspired generations of students.
Married for 55 years, the McCombs have dedicated their lives to education, with Beverly serving as a career tech teacher and counselor and Rick taking on roles from teacher to superintendent.

As the couple looks ahead to retirement, Beverly expressed mixed emotions, saying, "I know that I am going to miss what I do. I'm looking forward to our new adventure."
Rick agreed, saying he's ready to pass on the reins.
"We've done a lot of things in our career and glad for every one of them. Now it's time to turn it over to younger people," Rick said.
Rick and Beverly met in high school and have been married for 55 years, a testament to their enduring partnership both personally and professionally.
