DECISION. THE KENTUCKY OUTDOOR TRACK AND FIELD CHAMPIONSHIP IS LATER THIS MONTH IN LEXINGTON. PRESTON HARVEY CAUGHT UP WITH AN OLDHAM COUNTY TRACK STAR LOOKING TO CAP OFF AN ALREADY INCREDIBLE SEASON WITH SOME MORE HARDWARE. I STARTED DOING TRACK IN SIXTH GRADE. I TRULY FELL IN LOVE WITH IT AT THE END OF MY EIGHTH GRADE YEAR, I WOULD SAY, AND IT WAS EVIDENT EARLY ON THAT CLARA WARWICK WAS DIFFERENT. SHE RAN TRACK FOR ME IN MIDDLE SCHOOL AT EAST OLDHAM MIDDLE SCHOOL, AND WE JUST KNEW FROM THE GET GO SHE WAS SHE WAS GOING TO BE A STANDOUT. SHE HAS JUST NATURAL TALENT, BUT ABOVE AND BEYOND THAT, SHE PUTS IN THE WORK TO TAKE THAT TALENT TO THE NEXT LEVEL. BUT HER RISE TO THE TOP DIDN맥스카지노T HAPPEN INSTANTLY. SOPHOMORE YEAR, I ENDED AT SECOND PLACE OUTDOOR IN THE 200, AND THIRD IN THE OUTDOOR 100. IT JUST IT LEFT ME WANTING MORE. MORE WOULD BE AN UNDERSTATEMENT. WARWICK WON TWO EVENTS AT THE 2025 INDOOR STATE CHAMPIONSHIPS AND CREDITS THE WORK SHE PUT IN THE WEIGHT ROOM. THE BIG DIFFERENCE HERE IS THE SIZE AND THE GIRLS WHO ARE WINNING LEGS IN MIND. I WAS LIKE, I맥스카지노M GOING TO CHANGE THAT AND THAT맥스카지노S ABSOLUTELY WHAT I DID. BUT THE WORK DOESN맥스카지노T STOP THERE. SHE HAS HER EYE ON MORE HARDWARE IN THE OUTDOOR STATE CHAMPIONSHIP MEET AT THE END OF THE MONTH. I THINK EVERY ATHLETE WANTS TO GO BACK TO BACK, EVEN BACK TO BACK FROM THIS YEAR. IN COMPARISON TO NEXT YEAR ALSO. BUT OUR 4X4, OUR FOUR BY TWO AND THEN THE 100, THE TWO ARE THE TITLES I맥스카지노M GOING AFTER. CLARA WARWICK STORY IS STILL BEING WRITTEN HERE AT OLDHAM COUNTY HIGH SCHOOL, AS THE TRACK STAR IS ONLY A JUNIOR, BUT HAS ASPIRATIONS TO COMPETE AT THE DIVISION ONE LEVEL, AND SHE GAINS INSPIRATION FROM A FORMER COLONEL, TULA FORBUSH, WHO IS NOW COMPETING AT TENNESSEE. HER BEING ABLE TO DO THAT WAS SOMETHING THAT I LOOK UP TO MORE THAN ANYTHING, HER BEING DISTANCE VERSUS SPRINTS, THE DISTANCE AND SPRINTS. WE DON맥스카지노T PRACTICE TOGETHER, SO IT맥스카지노S KIND OF DIFFICULT. BUT HER JUST SETTING THAT EXPECTATION FOR WHAT I WANT TO GO OUT AND DO HAS BEEN TRULY AMAZING TO HAVE. AND AS WARWICK CHASES THAT GOAL, HER COACH WILL BE ALONGSIDE HER EVERY STEP OF THE WAY. SHE JUST MAINTAINS AN ORDER AND AN EXPECTATION THAT NOT ALL COACHES CAN. AND THAT맥스카지노S VERY, VERY CLEAR. WHENEVER YOU HAVE OTHER COACHING EXPECTATIONS AND STUFF. SO SHE맥스카지노S JUST BEEN SUCH A GREAT COACH AND I COULDN맥스카지노T THANK HER FOR MORE REPORTING A

It was evident early on that Clara Warrick was something special when she first started participating in track."I started doing track in sixth grade. I really fell in love with it at the end of my eighth-grade year, I would say," said Clara Warrick."She ran track for me, in middle school, at Eastland Middle School, and we just knew from the get go she was she was going to be a standout," said Oldham County Track head coach Stacey Whitlock. "She has just natural talent. But above and beyond that, she puts in the work to take that talent to the next level." Warrick's rise to the top didn't happen instantly. During her sophomore season Warrick finished second place in the 200m and third in the 100m."The big difference here is the size. And the girls who are winning legs and mine. I was like, I'm going to change that. And that's absolutely what I did," said Warrick. Warrick won two events at the 2025 Indoor State championship but she's not satisfied. The junior track star has her eyes on more hardware in the 2025 KHSAA Outdoor State Championship meet at the end of the month."I think every athlete wants to go back-to-back," said Warrick. "Even back to back from this year in comparison to next year also. But our 4x4 or our 4x2, and then the 100m, the two are the titles I'm looking after." The junior has aspirations to compete at the Division I level and she gains inspiration from a former Oldham County Colonel, Tula Fawbush, who's now competing at Tennessee. "Her being able to do that was something that I look up to more than anything," said Warrick. "Her just setting that expectation for what I want to go out and do has been truly amazing to have."Warrick is well on her way, and while she chases that goal, her coach will be alongside her every step of the way."She just maintains an order and expectation that not all coaches can. And that's very, very clear whenever you have other coaching expectations and stuff. So, she's just been such a great coach, and I couldn't thank her for more," said Warrick. The 2025 KHSAA Outdoor Track & Field Championship is set for May 29-31 in Lexington.
