if you want to get a degree online, even though it may feel new to take an online course and to call yourself a college student when you're in your late thirties or forties or fifties, this is an option for you. We're here to help you understand what that's going to be like and to be a partner with you throughout the course of your time as a student you ago. Our students primarily or adult students, many or working full time. They have a family. And so having faculty to understand the issues that many of these students are dealing with and and how faculty can accommodate that and assist students in their learning is really important online learning. You know, you really get the convenience that a lot of its need, especially when you work in a full time job. The online learning team at U of O really support students before, during and after enrollments. We provide just a lot of overall assistance to students, no matter what their needs are. We kind of have an office for, you know, each part of the puzzle. A lot of students don't know right off the bat, exactly what they want to do, which program they want, and that's where I jump in. Have you been in college before? How many credits do you have? What programs were given before? Did you like those programs that you like? Those classes and all of those answers can really help us determine which program is best for you, And it might be totally different than what you had in mind. But you know, that's what we're there for. And then from there, guide you through the application process, and then we keep you updated throughout so really start to finish on. Then, once they've been enrolled in their classes, they are given all sorts of resource is to help them be successful. So they've got advising. Of course, they've got access to career services, access to the virtual writing center, tutoring for the undergraduate programs. And if the person lives in your by, they can come to campus to to receive any of the services Are Library has all sorts of materials that are available virtually, and any article or book could be mailed to a student in the contiguous 48 states, even if they live across the street from campus if they requested to be delivered to them will send it to them. And so they're all sources services here that you don't see it. One of things that we try to do with this institution of support military necas students and to break down as many barriers as possible could afford the pandemic. University unveiled the new benefit, which is waived. Application fees. Ah, and priority registration for what we call currently serving. So that would be after duty, Coast Guard, National Guard and Reserve members. But the thing you'll find with military connected students have their own unique challenges that the common one is when they have to deploy, go overseas. And so at the institution, we try to help them right of ways primarily through our Office of Military and veteran student services, which supports all of those different student populations. If you were in a undergraduate program in your twenties and you didn't succeed, you feel like I had to stop. I had to quit. For whatever reason, it might be a really hard conversation for you to have with somebody. I want to start up again. I want to do this.
