A new website has been created in support of removing a dam where a Clarksville teenager drowned.The site, freesilvercreek.com, includes articles and videos on the dangers of low-head dams, like the one on Silver Creek.14-year-old Andrew Edwards died on Memorial Day after becoming trapped in the re-circulating waters below the dam.The River Heritage Conservancy, which is building the 430-acre Origin Park there, received a state permit to remove the dam.New Albany Mayor Jeff Gahan has sued to stop it.A spokesperson for the River Heritage Conservancy says the site was researched, developed and given to the non-profit through a private donation.
