LOOK OVER INTO AREAS OF MISSOURI WHERE YOU SEE THAT TORNADO WARNING AS WE TRACK THAT THROUGHOUT THE AFTERNOON HOURS. LOOK AT ALL OF THE CONFIRMED TORNADO WARNINGS AND THE TORNADO WARNINGS ALL ALONG THAT NEARLY 400 MILES THAT IS THE SAME STORM THAT HIT PULASKI AND LAUREL COUNTIES.

A serious long-track tornado ripped through southern Kentucky on Friday night.Our meteorologists tracked the storm all day, even as it hung over St. Louis, MO.The video in the player above shows how that same storm traveled across the bottom border of Kentucky, nearly 400 miles.The same storm from Missouri hit Pulaski and Laurel counties, two of the hardest-hit areas and where many deaths occurred.The National Weather Service will survey the damage from the storms to determine the strength and path of the tornado or tornadoes.
