More than 100 officers made their way to Bardstown Thursday following the announcement that the FBI has taken over the investigation into the disappearance of Crystal Rogers.We're told those officers served search warrants at nine locations, and the FBI confirmed they conducted more than 50 interviews in the Nelson County community.Here's what we know:Where are they searching?From the onset Thursday morning, investigators made their way to three locations: the home of Brooks Houck, the home of his brother, Nick Houck, and their family's farm. All of these locations are in Nelson County and have been searched in years prior in connection to Rogers' disappearance.(Watch video from all three places in the player at the top of the story)Brooks HouckBrooks Houck was the boyfriend of Crystal Rogers. Rogers had five children, one with him. He is the only person since she disappeared five years ago to be named as a suspect, but he has never been charged.He currently is a landlord and owns multiple rental properties in the area.On Thursday, both FBI and IRS agents were seen carrying items out of his home and into a van. It's not exactly clear why the IRS is involved, but Rogers' family tells 비바카지노 Viva the agency has been to his home before.Neighbors said investigators arrived at the home as early 6 a.m. Thursday. Some of the items that were taken include boxes, hard drives and firearms.As of 1:30 p.m., Brooks Houck remained at the home and could be seen in the driveway as agents continued working. Hours later, Brooks Houck was seen mowing his lawn after agents left.Nick HouckNick Houck is a former Bardstown police officer and brother to Brooks. He was fired from the department in 2015 for interfering with the investigation.Officials said Nick Houck called his brother while the brother was being interviewed by the Nelson County Sheriff's Department. The mayor said Nick Houck knew his brother was being interviewed, and the call was enough to be considered interference. Officials said he put his brother's interests ahead of the public's.Before 11 a.m. on Thursday, FBI agents with canines on scene were focused on a pickup truck. Evidence was collected from the home.Eyewitnesses told 비바카지노 Viva they saw Nick escorted by law enforcement from the scene.Last time Nick's home was searched years ago, their grandmother, Anna Whitesides, lived there as well. She has also been connected to the case. The state said back in 2016 that they believed her car was used to dispose of Rogers' body.She refused to testify when called to court. It's unclear where she is now.The Houck Family FarmThe farm, which belongs to Brooks Houck's family, has been searched at least three times. It's the last place investigators believe Rogers was seen alive. On Thursday, there were divers in a pond on the farm.At one point in 2016, the FBI, Jefferson County Sheriff맥스카지노�s Office and Louisville Metro Police Department all helped Nelson County officials search nearly 300 acres, including through water, caves and brush. Watch that story.Officials said then that "items of interest" were found, but it is unclear what those were.What's nextAgain, the FBI said there were nine search warrants being served, but we only know of three that were completely executed. It's unclear when we'll know anything about the others.It's unclear if or when investigators will return to those areas.FBI officials did not comment once the day's activities ended. There was no timeline given on when the investigation could wrap up or if any charges could be announced.Officials said Thursday that they launched a website dedicated to the Rogers case, in which they hope tips will be made about the mother's disappearance.
