Gwansanggam (�^��O, The Royal Astronomical Observatory) is the national government office in Joseon. This government office took charge of state affairs such as astronomy (����) geography (����) Yeoksu(�є�) Jeomsan (ռ��) Cheukhu (�y��) Gakru (��©). Also, this government office compiled and published a book relevant to these state affairs. There is a selection book (�x���) in one out of this. A selection book is the one that chooses the date in Sarye (�ĶY) and Ilyongbaeksa (���ð���). Yeongilguigam (丼����a) , which is a literature as a selection book of this study, was edited and published in the period that is closest to modern times, thereby being able to be said to be a selection book that will need to be noted in setting the date of today. A block book of Yeongilguigam (丼����a) , which was edited by Nam Byeong-gil[�ϱ���], who is a Gwansanggam (�^��O) government official and a scholar, and which was corrected by Im Geung-yeon [�־��Y], is possessed by many academic institutions at home and abroad, but wasn��t carried out a research.
Among many selections that are contained in this selection book, this study considered the selection on ��building a house�� where a person dwells, ��building a shrine�� that worships an ancestral tablet, and ��moving��& ��moving into a house (��լ)�� as a newly-built house. A house is constructed by selecting an auspicious year. In setting the date of building a shrine, of moving, and of moving into a house, a shrine is built to be moved by selecting a lucky day. Still, ��day without a hand��, which is being much used in selecting the date of moving in modern times, is just a folk common saying that wasn��t included in the documentation of a selection book.
