The purpose of this study is to investigate a variable affecting to career identity. This research used 2,713 people data of 9th grade that are provided from Korean Children & Youth Panel. In particular, we conducted HLM(Hierarchical Linear and Nonlinear Modeling) to examine a factor that is whether there is person level or school level effect. And it is used Frequency Study to ascertain experience and satisfaction in activities. Also, it was analysed by MRA(Multiple Regression Analysis) to ascertain factor related self-esteem, ego identity, life satisfaction, the goal of life, emotion, abuse & neglect.
The analysis results are as follows: First, school level has found that there is no any statistically significant difference according to Intra-class Correlation(ICC). Second, the goal of life has a higher effect size than others in the factor affecting career identity. Next in order of life satisfaction, ego identity, emotion, study habits, self-esteem, peer attachment, abuse & neglect. Third, students doesn't participate in activities more than 80% but students participating in activities are satisfied with them.
