The purpose of this study was the effects of extension exercise program in LBP(low back pain) patients when using kinesio taping. Subjects were 16 young adults with LBP. They were divided randomly 2 groups. The intervention duration was 4 weeks, they exercised 2 times per every week. Control group was exercised only extension exercise program without kinesio taping. Experimental group was exercised extension exercise program with kinesio taping. Measurement factor were 3 things that were extension strength in lumbar part, VAS(visual analogue scale) of lumbar pain, the QBPDS(Quebec back pain Disability scale). For measuring extension strength in lumbar part, 7 condition (flexion:72, 60, 48, 36, 24, 12, 0 degree) were measured. The results were follows : The extension strength in lumbar part was significantly increased except 0 degree on experimental group. Control group resulted that it was increased 36, 60 degrees. VAS & QBPDS were decreased two groups. These results confirmed that kinesio taping was contributed extension exercise program, so extension exercise program with kinesio taping was good method treatment for LBP patients.
