In this treatise, I inspected on what was Ueda-Akinari'recognition about Joseon, who participated Kimura-Kenkado group, which was the center of Osaka literary men. Kenkado group was a kind of saloons, where Osakian intellects enjoyed their times cultural blessings and a local intellects network was established based on Chinese literature and Confucian studies.
Through the encounter of Kenkado group and 'Joseon Tongsinsa', the international cultural exchange was known not only to Japanese domestically but also to Joseon and Chinese broadly. Thereby, intellectuals' exchange was made between east Asian literary men.
For the case of Ueda Akinari, he has two times of Joseon experience through meetings with Joseon deplomatic envoys. In narratives of ��Tandaishosinloku��, Akinari was found to have an objective recognition on Joseon or Joseon people. With a contemplation on Akinari's recognition on Joseon, the influence of Joseon literature in his works could be investigated more solidly.
