?????? ?????, ?????, ??????? ??? ??? ?? (Effects of Self-Efficacy, Major Satisfaction, and Academic Stress on Depression in Nursing College Student)

The purpose of this study was to investigate the degree of self-efficacy, major satisfaction, academic stress, and depression of nursing students, and identity influencing factors of depression. A convenience sample of 159 nursing students was conducted from four university in Pusan and Gyeongnam area. Data collection period was from September 7 to October 10, 2022. Data were analyzed using IBM SPSS version 26.0. Students¡¯ self-efficacy, major satisfaction, academic stress, and depression were measured using a structured self-report questionnaires. The degree of depression was negatively correlated with self-efficacy and major satisfaction, and positively academic stress. Influencing factors emerged in the order of academic stress, major satisfaction on depression with an explanatory power of 39.5%. Based on the results of this study, in order to prevent depression in nursing students, it is necessary to activate study activities for academic improvement conducted at each university and develop a school program that enables students with poor grades to actively utilize the mentee and mentor system.
