After the destruction of Balhae in 926, the inhabitants are divided into Balhae and Jurchen(�w). The Balhae group was grouped around the Dongkyeong(�|��), and the Jurchen were divided into two groups-Shu(��), Sheng(��). Jurchen have different names depending on the perception of the surrounding countries. First of all, it will be possible to understand the relationship between Goryeo and the Jurchen and the international dynamics at that time when the eastern Jurchen and the western Jurchen are recognized by the adjacent Goryeo people.
At that time, the Jurchen had close ties with Goryeo in the south and Liao in the west. In the early days at Liao dynasty, the Khitan mainly concentrated on the Chinese area, so the Khitan area was suppressed, while the Goryeo started to expell Jurchen from the northern part of the Korean peninsula. The villages that make up these eastern Jurchen are presumed to be 30 villages in Changbai Mountain. The forces of Wanyan, located on Anchuhusui(������ˮ), have gradually expanded into the Jurchen of Galajeon by expanding to Hamkyungdo area. These were the forces that founded Jin(��) in the future and had a close relationship with Goryeo.
