In Chinese language, the structure of ��V��/��C�� may indicate the meaning of possibility. This structure may have a high frequency of use and a high productivity with which various sentences are made for the user of a Chinese language. This paper discusses the structure of ��V��/��C�� in view of the construction grammar theory, considering that this structure conforms to the construction concept suggested by Adele. E. Goldberg in 2007, and that the advantage of the construction grammar theory that he mentioned is reflected well. The conventional explanation of the structure of ��V��/��C�� has a problem in finding out the characteristic of ���á� and ������ which are elements included in the structure. Further, the naming issue on the structure of ��V��/��C�� has been always a subject of argument. However, if we consider the structure of ��V��/��C�� as a construction in view of the construction grammar theory, the argument of the problems existed in the conventional explanation can be avoided. First of all, the source of the meaning of possibility indicated by the structure of ��V��/��C�� can be explained exactly. Further, the phenomenon that an argument combination which is discrepant from internal verbs of the structure of ��V��/��C�� can be adequately explained. This paper recognizes the structure of ��V��/��C�� as a construction and considers ��the meaning of possibility�� indicated by the construction is generated by the whole frame of the structure of ��V��/��C�� Further, for the argument combination which is discrepant from a verb in the structure of ��V��/��C��, it is considered that the number of arguments of verbs is changed according to the need for indicating the expression minutely in a practical use.
