<Scandal Makers> is typical genre of comedy film that present narrative toward actors¡¯ comic performance and situation in foreground.
It revealed unresolved problems such as single mom and single daddy that have a social phenomenon in Korea. Film comedy can often deal with these issues more openly than can other genre because it always makes a laugh. That is artificially covered a problems through make a laugh which express comic acting. A goal of comedy genre successfully conveys family unity and persistence of happiness. This genre shows an abrupt happy-ending that conform conservatives ideology and has potential unresolved problems. Therefore the final cause is still left behind without unresolved problems. If one of the theme of the comedy is that of integration, then <Scandal Makers> genuinely played with that theme, looking at it a variety of perspectives, including not only its inverse-disintegration-but also its variations including qausi- or pseudo -integration. Films did not always conclude with comic resolution of all the problems.
