미술괿�교육에서의 시니어 문화예술교육 활성화를 위한‘창의적 나이 듦’개념 고찰 (A Study on the Concept of ‘Creative Aging’ for Revitalizing Senior Culture and Art Education in Art Museum Education)

연구목적 본 연구는 급속한 고령화 현상과 이에 수반된 다양한 사회 변화 속에서, 노인의 ‘재현적 사고’로서의 창의적 문화예술활동을 촉발할 수 있는 미술괿�교육의 확장 방향성 조망을 위한 기초연구로서, ‘창의적 나이 듦’ 개념에 기반한 사회과학적 관점에서의 시사를 제공하는 데 목적을 두었다.
연구방법 이를 위해 시니어 및 시니어교육 관련 담론과 문화예술교육에 대해 검토하고, 이를 기반으로 변화하는 미래환경 속 시니어 미술괿�교육의 역할과 방향에 대해 고찰하였다. 결과 그 결과, 미술관이 다양한 세대의 사회적 상상력을 발휘할 수 있는 문화예술교육의 장으로서 기능하기 위한 구체적인 노력이 필요하다는 결론에 이르렀다. ‘창의적 나이 듦’의 개념이 종래의 노인을 바라보는 시선과 공급 중심적 교육에 대한 변화를 시사하고, 이를 통해 노인들을 대상으로 한 미술괿�교육의 확장 방향성이 모색되기를 기대한다. 결론 노년 문화 형성의 과제는 노인들이 단순히 돌봄을 받는 존재에서 벗어나 적극적으로 활동하고 나눔을 실천하는 노인상으로의 변화를 통해 구현될 수 있다. 즉, 노년 문화는 활발한 사회활동과 봉사활동 등 ‘창의적 나이 듦’ 개념에 기반한 생산적인 노년기를 통해 발전할 수 있으며, 그 지점에서 시니어 문화예술을 향유하고 생산하고 매개하는 심미적 공간으로서의 미술관이 기능해야 한다.

Purpose This study aims to provide implications from a social science perspective based on the concept of ‘creative aging’ as a basic study for the expansion direction of art museum education that can trigger creative cultural and artistic activities of the elderly amid rapid aging and accompanying social changes. Methods To this end, discourses related to senior and senior education and culture and arts education were reviewed, and based on this, the roles and directions of senior museum education in the changing future environment were reviewed. Result As a result, it was concluded that specific efforts were needed to function as a venue for culture and arts education in which art museums could exert social imagination of various generations. Based on the concept of ‘creative aging’, it is expected that the direction of expansion of senior museum education will be sought. Conclusion A desirable senior culture can be formed by changing the elderly from being cared for and into the elderly who actively work and practice sharing. In other words, senior culture can develop through productive old age, such as active social activities and volunteer activities based on the concept of 'creative aging', and the art museum should function as an aesthetic space to enjoy, produce, and mediate culture and art.
