According to Hindu beliefs, if a person commits suicide, he neither goes to the hell nor the heaven, but remains in the earth consciousness as a bad spirit and wanders aimlessly till he completes his actual and allotted life time. However, there are some suicides that are allowed in Hindu suicide. Sati is one of them which is recommended to be preserved with the implication of protecting Dhrmaic order in Hindu society. If religious suicide is permitted in Hindu society for the protection of Dharma, Hinduism may approve such suicide as protects the nation. In the process of the Partition, the religion became a very powerful ideology for building and protecting the nation. In this context, The Hindu Suicide Squad by Bal Thackeray, the leader of an extreme Hindu group, Shiv Sena, for the Hindu community to rise and form indigenous Hindu pseudo-Al-Qaeda cells striking the Muslim community may become logic and rational.
Religion is a discourse that makes some contradictory terms such as killing-sacrifice, destroying-purifying, invasion-judgement, protection-compulsion harmonious and coincided.
