성서 본문해석 과정에서 설교의 이미지왿� 상상력에 관한 연구 (A Study on Preaching Images and Vision in the Process of Biblical Text Interpretation)

성서의 본문읽기왿� 묵상은 독자에게 그것을 해석하는 과정 중에 이미지왿� 상상력을 유발시킨다. 이것은 설교자의 주관적인 창조적 과정으로 보인다. 상상력은 하나의 아이디어이며 설교자의 직관적 인지 능력과 같은 것이다. 본문말씀의 보화를 사모하는 설교자는 하나님을 향해 겸손히 열려 있고 그 마음을 정직하게 살피면서 창조적으로 사고한다. 창조적인 사고는 상상력을 이끌고 그 특징은 말씀해석 가운데 설교자의 주관성이 동반되는 현실을 경험한다. 하지만 하나님께서는 이왿� 같은 독특한 설교 과정에서 하나님의 계시를 현재 신앙공동체에 해석적 실재로 설교강단을 채우신다. 설교자는 본문을 읽고 그 안에서 메시지를 찾는다. 이 과정에서 본문을 통해 드러나는 이미지는 설교착상에 영향을 준다. 이미지는 창조적인 본문해석을 가능하게 하고 성서를 읽는 독자의 상상력으로 발전하게 이끈다. 상상력은 설교 내용을 풍성하게 할 수 있으며, 본문의 내용에 대한 전반적인 이미지를 형성하도록 이끈다. 즉 본문읽기를 통해서 착상된 이미지는 상상력의 과정을 통해 발전되고 또 다시 안정된 본문의 이미지를 형성하도록 유도된다.
본문해석에서 상상력은 해석된 하나님의 말씀을 확장시키는 기능을 하지만 인간 내부의 언어적 효과라는 점에서 그 자체적인 한계를 가질 수밖에 없다. 인간의 언어 전달로 구성되는 설교는 영적인 상상력을 통해 이미지를 그려내는 작업이 되며, 말씀의 해석으로 착상된 이미지가 상상력으로 묘사되는 과정을 동반한다고 설명할 수 있다. 설교자는 추상적인 하나님 말씀 가운데 이미지를 발견하고, 이것을 묘사하는 과정에서 상상력으로 표현된 영적인 이미지를 완성하는 사역에 동참한다. 성령 하나님은 설교자를 통해 이미지왿� 상상력을 가능하게 하시며, 신앙 공동체에게 말씀을 수여하시기 때문에 설교자는 그 말씀 앞에 언제나 겸손할 수밖에 없다. 성령의 개입 없이 설교는 불가능하다. 본문해석 과정에서 이미지왿� 상상력은 모든 설교 과정 가운데 나타나는 신비적인 사건이 되며, 성령의 개입은 그 시간 속에서 필수불가결한 신앙공동체 설교강단의 전제가 된다. 본문에 대한 발견은 이미지를 드러내고, 본문 묵상을 통한 인간의 자연스러운 의지로 생성되는 상상력은 다시 본문에 대해 기타 파생되는 이미지로 발전한다.

Reading and meditating on the Text triggers images and imagination in the reader during the process of interpretation. This appears to be the preacher's subjective creative process. Imagination is an idea and the same thing as the preacher's intuitive cognitive ability. A preacher who longs for the treasures of the Text is humbly open to God and honestly examines his heart and thinks creatively. Creative thinking leads to imagination and its characteristic is accompanied by the preacher's subjectivity in interpreting the Word. However, in this unique preaching process, God fills the Pulpit with the interpretive reality of God's Revelation to the current Faith community. The preacher reads the Text and finds the message in it. In this process, the images revealed through the Text influence the preaching idea. Images enable creative interpretation of the Text and lead to the development of the imagination of readers of the Bible. Imagination can enrich the content of a preaching and lead to forming an overall image of the content of the Text. In other words, the image conceived through reading the Text is developed through the process of imagination and is led to form a stable image of the Text.
In the interpretation of the Text, imagination functions to expand the interpreted Word of God, but it inevitably has its own limitations in that it is a linguistic effect within humans. Preaching, which is composed of human language transmission, is a work of drawing images through spiritual imagination, and it can be explained that it is accompanied by a process in which images conceived through interpretation of the Word are depicted through imagination. The preacher discovers images in the Word of God and, in the process of describing them, participates in the ministry of completing spiritual images expressed through imagination. Because God the Holy Spirit enables images and imagination through the preacher and bestows the Word to the Faith community, the preacher has no choice but to always be humble before the Word. In the process of interpreting the Text, images and imagination are mysterious events that appear throughout the entire preaching process. And the intervention of the Holy Spirit becomes the premise of the preaching pulpit of the indispensable Faith Community that exists at that time. The discovery of the Text reveals images, and the imagination generated by human's natural will through meditation on the Text develops into other derived images of the Text.
