    This paper presents the results of an analytical study that predicts the bending performance of the concrete beams reinforced with FRP grids. To predict the bending performance, finite element analysis was performed using LS-DYNA, a commercial structural analysis program. The bondโ€“slip between concrete and the FRP grid was considered during the finite element analysis, and the BEAM_IN_SOLID model was applied as the constraint between concrete and the FRP grid. Subsequently, the the accuracy of the proposed finite element analysis model was verified through the experimental results performed by several domestic researchers. The ratios of the analysis values to the displacement experimental values at the maximum load and the maximum load were 0.990 and 0.924 and the standard deviations were 0.056 and 0.087, respectively. A parametric analysis was performed using the proposed finite analysis model to apply the CFRP grid instead of the reinforcing bar to increase the tension in the concrete beam. It was confirmed that the compressive strength of concrete, the number of layers of the FRP grid, and the effective depth of the FRP grid are important factors for the flexural performance of the concrete member reinforced with the CFRP grid.
