이��열의 『황제를 위하여』왿� 윈 리어우왿�린의 『평행선상의 민주주의』:한·태 소설에 나타난 카오스 비교 (Moonyeol Yi's For the Emperor and Win Lyovarin's Democracy on Parallel Paths: A Comparison of Chaos represented in the novel of Korea and Thailand.)

이��열의 『황제를 위하여』왿� 윈 리어우왿�린의 『평행선상의 민주주의』에 나타난 카오스 현상에 대해 살펴보았다. 이 두 장편소설은 공통적으로 사건 전개를 이끄는 허구의 인물이 양국의 근현대사에 접목되어 형상화되어있다. 따라서 허구의 인물과 실제 인물 그리고 허구적인 내용과 역사적 사실이 혼재된 양상이 드러난다. 이 두 소설에서는 무질서한 혼돈의 상황이 극에 달할 경우 다시 본래대로 돌아가는 현상이 보인다. 그러나 과거 원점으로의 회귀라는 의미가 아니라 시대의 변화에 따른 현실 상황이 함께 고려된다는 점에서 현실성을 보인다.
사람의 인내가 한계에 달했을 때나 사건이 포화 지점에 다다르면 폭발이나 파괴가 일어나고 다시 새로운 것을 찾아 질서를 유지하려는 현상이 드러난다. 이러한 원동력은 사람이 생명의 유한성에 대해 인식하는 자세에서 차이를 보인다. 사람이 생명의 유한성을 현실세계에서 무한하게 하려고 욕심을 부릴 때 공동체 사회는 어지러워지고 그 결과 혼돈의 양상이 생긴다. 반면 사람이 현실세계에서의 생명의 유한성을 인식하고 수용할 때 이러한 혼돈은 끝나고 새로운 질서가 나타난다.

I explored the phenomenon of chaos represented in Moonyeol Yi's For the Emperor and Win Lyovarin's Democracy on Parallel Paths. These two long novels have been given shape to put a graft into the modern history of two countries with the fact that a main character is imaginary one in common. Accordingly, these novels reveal the aspects mixed with a fictitious character, a real character, a fictitious content and a historical fact. They show the originally returning phenomenon when the situation of disorderly chaos reaches its climax. However, it does not mean to return to the starting point but show reality in the fact that reflects the real situation by the change of the times.
When people's endurance reaches the highest limit and the saturation point, explosion and destroy occur and the tendency to pursue the new order takes place after those. This motive power shows the discrepancy of the attitude that people perceive limitedness of their life. A communal society comes to confuse and has the disorderly aspect when people have a desire to make limitedness of their life limitless. On the contrary, this chaos finishes and shows the new order when people recognize limitedness of their life and accept it in the real world.
