비대면 실시간 온라인 대학 긿�쓰기 수업에 관한 자전적 사례 연구－수원대학껓 ‘긿�쓰기왿� 고전읽기’ 과목을 통한 교수자의 인식 및 성찰을 중심으로 (An Autobiographical Case Study on University’s Writing Class Operated in a Synchronous Online Manner －Focusing on the Perception and Reflection of Instructors through the Subject of Writing and Classi)

본 연구는 수원대학껓의 <긿�쓰기왿� 고전읽기>라는 교양 필수 과목을 비대면 실시간 온라인 방식으로 운영한 자전적 사례를 분석하는 데 목적이 있다. 이를 통해 변화된 교육 환경에서 긿�쓰기 수업을 실천하면 서 발견한 교수자의 체험과 인식, 성찰을 공유하고자 한다. 나아가 대학 교양 교육의 차원에서 비대면 실시간 온라인 긿�쓰기 수업의 지향점과 함께 교수자에게 요구되는 새로운 실천과 쟁점에 대해서도 논의하고자 한다.
코로나가 발생한 이후 2020년부터 현재까지 학껓급, 교과목의 특성, 교수자 및 학습자의 특성에 따라 ‘온라인 수업’이라는 키워드를 중심으로 일련의 새로운 연구들이 축적되었고, 이러한 교육의 새로운 담론들은 코로나의 위기 속에서 교육의 주체들이 어떻게 교육적 대응 방안을 마련해야 하는지 등에 대해 언급하고 있다. 이러한 선행 연구들의 논의를 종합한 결과 공히 온라인 환경에서의 ‘상호작용’ 의 어려움에 주목하고 있는 양상들을 확인할 수 있었다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 변화된 교육 환경과 이에 따른 교수자왿� 학습자의 상호작용의 양상에 주목하여 수업을 운영하면서 겪은 교수자의 인식과 성찰, 그리고 실천들을 제시하고자 하였다.
연구 결과 약 1여 년 동안 비대면 수업을 운영하면서 발견한 교수자의 인식 및 성찰은 기술 환경적 측면에서의 상호작용, 학습자의 심리적 측면에서의 상호작용, 교수자의 실천적 측면에서의 상호작용으 로 구분하여 살펴볼 수 있었다. 그리고 이러한 성찰을 바탕으로 각각의 상호작용 측면에서 교수자가 시도한 새로운 실천들은 “밀도감 있는 교실” 및 고맥락(high-context) 환경을 위한 실천, “생생한 목소리 (voice)” 및 관계적 소통 환경을 위한 실천, “공유된 정체성”과 실천적 지식(practical practice)의 구성 환경을 위한 실천으로 정리할 수 있다.
향후 포스트코로나 시대에도 많은 연구자들이 변화된 시대 흐름에 기민하게 대응하고, 새로운 교육적 실천들을 지속하면서 이를 다양한 교육 주체들과 공유할 필요가 있을 것이다. 이러한 맥락에서 본 연구가 조금이나마 의의를 가질 수 있기를 바란다.

The purpose of this study is to analyze autobiographical cases in which the university of Suwon's essential liberal arts subject called “Writing and Classical Reading,” was conducted in a synchronous online manner. Through this process, the instructors shared the experiences, perceptions, and reflections that they discovered while practicing these writing classes in the changed educational environment. In addition, the instructors discussed the direction of synchronous online writing classes should take and the new issues required of them within this new environment.
Since the outbreak of COVID-19, a series of new studies have accumulated around the keyword “online class” from 2020 to the present, and these new discourses on education have led to various opinions and suggestions on how educational subjects should come up with educational countermeasures amid this pandemic. As a result of synthesizing these new data, I confirmed that instructors were paying attention to the difficulties of ‘interaction’ in the online environment. Therefore, in this study, the instructor's perceptions, reflections, and new practices experienced while operating the class were presented, with a focus on the changed educational environment and the resulting interaction patterns between instructors and learners.
As a result of this study, I was able to divide the instructor's perception and reflection into interactions in the technical environment, interactions pertaining to the learner's psychological aspect, and interactions regarding the instructor's practical aspect. In each of these interactions, the new practices attempted by the instructor could be summarized as “in-depth classroom practices,” practices for high context environments, “vivid voices” and relational communication environments, and “shared identities” and practices for the environment of practical knowledge.
In the future, many researchers will need to respond quickly to the changing trends of the times and share their experiences and opinions with other instructors involved in various educational subjects. At the same time, instructors will need to continue to implement new educational practices in their classrooms. Thus, I hope that this research paper contributes to this process in a beneficial and significant way.
