Sung, Wan(成琬) was born in 1639 and finished his life in 1710. He had left us his literary collection - ?Chuiheo Collection(翠虛集)?. Sung, Wan had his extended family lineage of famous literary men such as Sung, Dae Jung(成大中), Sung, Hae Euong(成海應). His family is also well-known for being appointed as 3 continuous generation of office of TongShinSa(通信使) and creating a fame in Japan.
In this abstract, I have reviewed several records related to Sung, Wan, and have, in particular, taken consideration of a Chinese Poem recorded in Chuiheo Collection. He was very quick at creating poems, and expressed various poetic expressions fluently and eloquently. In addition, due to this kind of talent in himself, he has left us long epics in his Chuiheo Collection, whose contents mainly describing his heart about collapse of Myeong(明) is outstanding compared to others.????
