This article examines new materials on Kim Taejun(½ð̨¿¡) that can give us deeper insights into him. First, it looks at the Zhuangzi, which was published in the preparatory course student magazine Seiry¨ of the Keij¨ Imperial University and was written by Kim Taejun in Chinese. Second, it focuses on the process of Kim Taejun¡¯s appointment as an instructor after professor Toru Takahashi retired from Keij¨ Imperial University, and Takahashi¡¯s reaction to Kim's History of Korean Chinese Literature and History of Korean Novels. Third, it introduces some of the newspaper articles published in South Korea from December 1945 to November 1949, after Kim Taejun returned from Yanan, China. It is an attempt to recompose Kim Taejun¡¯s last four years. It shows how a remarkable scholar and heroic anti-Japanese activist was accused of being a North Korean spy in South Korea.????
