Unregistered land resurvey and its registration in cadastral records become important in terms of improving public trust. The importance of registration and arrangement of unregistered land in cadastral maps has been highlighted. The registration and arrangement are essential to increase the reliability of the cadastral record, which also influences the public trust. Therefore, this study is to review how to improve the public trust through unregistered land resurvey and its registration in the cadastral record. This study focuses on unregistered land in cadastral map especially in Chungcheongbukdo province. Methodologically, the primary and secondary data are collected through literature reviews and an online search and both descriptive and systematic approaches are used. The research results are driven from the following perspectives. First, unregistered land and framework are approached in terms of target and arrangement of unregistered land, literature reviews and framework. Second, the current status of unregistered land is reviewed based on simple arrangement, new registration and correction of registration in terms of errors in cadastral maps. Third, a strategy for registration and arrangement of unregistered land is suggested based on the results of review.
