에뾩짿�-기후시대의 위기왿� 민주시민교육의 책무왿� 대안의 탐색 (The Exploration of the Crisis of the Energy-Climate Era(E.C.E.) and the Obligation and the Alternative of Democratic Citizenship Education)

이 연구의 목적은 에뾩짿�-기후시대의 위기를 체계적으로 분석하고 이를 바탕으로 민주시민교육의 책무를 도출하고 대안을 제시하는 것이다. 이를 위하여 먼저 21세기에 지구촌이 직면한 필연적이고 파괴적인 위기 중 기후변화왿� 에너지의 두 위기에 착안하여 토머스 프리드먼이 제시한 ‘에뾩짿�-기후시대론’을 민주시민교육적 관점에서 재인식하고 발전적으로 재구성하였다. 다음에 에뾩짿�-기후시대의 민주시민교육의 책무를 도출하였다. 에뾩짿�-기후시대의 위기에 대처하기 위하여 이 연구가 제시한 민주시민교육의 책무는 (1) 시민교육시스템의 재편, (2) 녹색시민의 양성, (3) 초등학껓 민주시민교육프로그램 개발, (4) 자연친화적 지능과 생태지능의 육성의 네 가지이다. 나아가서 이 연구는 에뾩짿�-기후시대의 위기 분석과 민주시민교육의 책무에 기초하여 민주시민교육의 발전을 위한 대안으로 민주시민교육의 방향과 목표 및 내용구성과 방법을 제안하였다.

This study aims to analyze the crisis of the energy-climate era systematically and deduct the obligations of democratic citizenship education and propose the alternative of it. For this purpose, This study paid attention to the two crises of climate change and energy and had a new understanding and restructured developmentally the theory of 'Energy-Climate Era' presented by Thomas Friedman from the point of the democratic citizenship education. Going one step forward, This study deducted the obligations of democratic citizenship education. The obligations of democratic citizenship education of deducted by this study are as follows;(1) Reorganizing of the citizenship education(2) Cultivating of the green citizen(3) Developing of the program of the democratic citizenship education of elementary school(4) Nurturing of the intelligence of nature friendship and the consciousness of biosphere. Besides, This study proposed the orientation, goal, contents, method of the democratic citizenship education. These are based on the crisis of the energy climate era and the obligations of democratic citizenship education analyzed by this study.
