This study aims to investigate the correlation between infectious disease outbreaks and abnormal weather and climate changes in Korea from 1392 to 1917. Through the use of the Annals of the Joseon Dynasty (���r�������) and the Daily Records of the Royal Secretariat(����Ժ��ӛ) endemic disease occurrences and reconstructed weather and climatic conditions were analysed to explain the relationship between infectious disease and climate changes. According to a spatio-temporal analysis with statistical approaches, abnormal weather conditions such as warm winter, rainfall variability, and cold spring and fall were major drivers that played the part in epidemics and its outbreaks of 1511~1560, 1641~1740, and 1781~1850 during the Little Ice Age. Besides Dry-Wet variability such as severe droughts in the 1440s, 1600s and 1680s, and flooding in the 1410s, 1520s and 1660s was also important causes of the outbreaks of infectious disease during the whole period of Joseon Dynasty.
