중학생의 진로동기 변화 탐색을 위한 커리어 스토리 창직활동 경험(북 크리에이터왿� 메타버스 교수학습매체의 활용) (Qualitative Research on the Experiences of Career Story Creation Activities to Explore Changes in Career MotivationAmong Middle School Students(Utilization of Book Creator and Metaverse as Educational)

본 연구의 목적은 북 크리에이터왿� 메타버스를 활용한 커리어 스토리 창직활동 경험을 통해 일반고등학껓 지원을 희망하는 중학생의 진로동기 변화를 탐색하기 위한 것이다. 연구 대상은 총 8명으로 중학껓 3학년 남학생 4명과 여학생 4명이다. 연구 기간은 2024년 5월부터 7월까지이며, 사전·사후 인터뷰는 1회당 40분씩 총 2회, 커리어 스토리 창직활동은 1차시당 150분씩 총 7차시를 진행하였다. 연구 방법은 합의적 질적연구(CQR)로서 반구조화된 질문지를 활용하여 커리어 스토리 창직활동의 사전과 사후에 인터뷰를 실시하고 연구팀과 감수자에 의해 분석하였다. 연구 결과는 진로동기의 하위요인인 진로정체감, 진로통찰력, 진로탄력성으로 구성된 3개의 영역에서 사전에 7개의 범주, 사후에 6개의 범주가 도출되었다. 본 연구의 의의는 첫째, 일반고등학껓 진학을 희망하는 중학생을 대상으로 창직활동을 진행한 점이다. 둘째, 커리어 스토리 인터뷰를 활용하여 창직의 선행요소인 자기이해 차원을 심층적으로 탐구한 점이다. 셋째, 창직 캔버스를 통해 진로설계의 실천 요소를 체계적으로 구현한 점이다. 본 연구의 시사점은 진로정체감과 진로적응성을 형성하기에 중요한 시기인 중학생의 자기이해왿� 진로설계 활동을 구체적으로 구현함으로써 향후 진학과 진로에 핵심적이라 할 수 있는 진로동기의 긍정적인 변화를 확인한 점이다. 아울러 청소년들이 급변하는 산업 및 직업 환경에 유연하게 대응하면서 자기실현을 이룰 수 있는 진로교육의 새로운 방향을 제시한 데 있다.

The purpose of this study is to explore changes in career motivation, through career story creation activities utilizing book creators and the metaverse, among middle school students who pursue general high schools. Participants were eight 9th-grade students, 4 males and 4 females The study was performed from May to July 2024, and seven sessions of career story creation activities were implemented, each lasting 150 minutes. The Consensus Qualitative Research(CQR) was employed, and semi-structured interviews were conducted twice before and after the career story creation activities, each lasting 40 minutes. The data were analyzed by the research team and expert reviewers. Findings revealed three main areas related to career motivation: career identity, career insight, and career resilience. Seven categories were derived from the pre-interviews, and six categories were derived from the post-interviews. The significance of this study lies in three aspects. First, this study explored the experiences of career creation activities targeting middle school students pursuing general high schools. Second, this study thoroughly explored the self-understanding aspect, a precursor to career creation, using career story interviews. Third, this study systematically implemented practical elements of career planning through the career creation canvas. Implications of this study are that it confirmed positive changes in career motivation, which are crucial for future educational and career decisions, by concretely implementing self-understanding and career planning activities during a critical period of forming career identity and career adaptability. Furthermore, this study suggests a new direction for career education that enables adolescents to flexibly respond to the rapidly changing industrial and occupational environments while achieving self-fulfillment.
