Shakespeare's plays don‘t condemn the aristocracy nor the monarchy that formed societies highest echelons when he was writing. Shakespeare respected the conventions of rank, and was willing to observe the privileges of rank without criticism.
To denounce it would have been to incite civil disorder. Shakespeare did not want such disorder because he belonged to the mainstream; he was not a revolutionary.
But on the other hand, he expected that kings and princes and dukes acknowledge their responsibilities and perform their duties. It may be that no one had the right to commit regicide or to punish aristocrats, apart from those above them; but all of those who ranked highest had a moral duty that was ineluctable to any truly decent one among them.????
