The Life and Art World of the Tongyeong Ogwangdae¡¯s Dance Master, Jang Jae-bong and Lee Ki-sook Lee, Kang-Yong, Joo, Song-Hyun (Tongyeong Ogwangdae, Hanyang university) This study is intended to reveal the theoretical significance of the dance of Tongyeong ogwangdae, the basis of mask dance in the Gyeongsang provinces, by examining the life and art world of Jang Jae-bong and Lee Ki-sook. Since no specific study has been conducted compared to their achievements so far, they will serve as basic material for the dance study of Tongyeong ogwangdae.
The development of this study examined the inheritance processes and characteristics of Tongyoung ogwangdae, which have existed so far from Chapter II to Chapter HI, and the works of the study, Jang Jae-bong and Lee Ki-sook. In addition, through their dance performances, they sought the characteristics of the current Tongyeong ogwangdae dance, which was adapted and re-established and the sense of aesthetic consciousness to understand their existence.
Tongyeong ogwangdae is an organization, although there was no detailed investigation into the dance of artists. By reconsidering the two masters, Jang Jae-bong and Lee Ki-sook, rediscovered inheritance process and artistic value of Tongyeong ogwangdae dance in Youngnam.
