The purpose of this study was to examine the factors influenced life values of middle school students, using the pannel data from the 2005 Annual Survey performed by “Korea Education Longitudinal Study”. The subjects of this study were 5,413 middle school students excluding missing data. The validity and reliability checking was performed, and structural model was verified by using AMOS 7.0. According to the study results, school-satisfaction and self-concept were influenced by interest and in turn, life value by school-satisfaction and self-concept. Also, interest often directly influenced life values. These results suggest the necessity of empirical career-education which can develop human characteristic of students like interest, value and self-concept.????
