4년제 대학생의 중소기업 취업의향 영향요인 분석 (An Analysis on Influential Factors of University Student's Employment Intention in SMEs)

이 연구의 목적은 4년제 대학생의 중소기업 취업의향에 영향을 미치는 요인을 구명하여, 대학생 진로지도 및 중소기업 취업 활성화를 위한 시사점을 도출하는 데 있었다. 이를 위해 2020년 2학기 전국 4년제 대학에 재학 중인 학생 387명의 자료를 수집하여 이항 로지스틱 회귀 분석을 수행하였다. 주요 분석 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 비수도권 학생은 수도권 학생에 비해 중소기업 취업의향이 높았다. 둘째, 3학년은 1~2학년에 비해 중소기업 취업의향이 낮았다. 셋째, 기대연봉은 중소기업 취업의향에 부적인 영향을 미쳤으며, 취업 1순위 가치로써 급여 수준, 직무·조직 특성 및 전망을 인식하고 있는 대학생은 고용안정성을 인식하고 있는 대학생에 비해 중소기업 취업의향이 높았다. 넷째, 아르바이트 경험이 있는 학생은 없는 학생에 비해 중소기업 취업의향이 높았다. 다섯째, 대학껓육 만족도로써 학껓의 학생 대상 서비스(장학금, 진로지도 등)에 만족한 학생은 만족하지 못한 학생에 비해 중소기업 취업의향이 높았으나 전공과 적성의 일치도에 만족한 학생은 오히려 중소기업 취업의향이 낮았다. 여섯째, 자신의 삶에 대해 불만족하는 학생은 보통인 학생에 비해 중소기업 취업의향이 높았다. 일곱째, 대한민국 사회에 대해 불만족하는 학생은 보통인 학생에 비해 중소기업 취업의향이 낮았다. 이 연구는 이러한 결과를 크게 ① 중소기업에 대한 부정적 인식 요인, ② 비자발적 중소기업 선택 요인, ③ 진로관련 인식 및 경험 요인의 관점으로 해석하였고 4년제 대학생 진로지도 및 중소기업 취업 활성화를 위한 몇 가지 제언을 제시하였다.

The purpose of this study was to find out the factors influencing university student's employment intention in SMEs and to derive suggestions for university student's career guidance and for promoting employment in SMEs. To this end, 387 students enrolled in universities nationwide in the second semester of 2020 were collected and binomial logistic regression was performed. The main analysis results are as follows: First, non-provincial students had a higher employment intention in SMEs than students in the metropolitan area. Second, third graders had a lower employment intention in SMEs than first and second graders. Third, expected salary had a negative impact on employment intention in SMEs, and students who recognized salary levels, job-organizational characteristics, or development’s possibility as the top priority value of employment had a higher employment intention in SMEs than students who recognized employment stability as the top priority value of employment. Fourth, students with part-time job experience had a higher employment intention in SMEs than those without part-time job experience. Fifth, students who were satisfied with the school's student services (such as scholarships and career guidance) had a higher employment intention in SMEs than those who were not satisfied. But students who were satisfied with their majors-aptitude match had a lower employment intention in SMEs than than those who were not satisfied. Sixth, students who were dissatisfied with their lives had a higher employment intention in SMEs than ordinary students. Seventh, students who were dissatisfied with Korean society had a lower employment intention in SMEs than ordinary students. This study interpreted these results in terms of ① negative perception factors for SMEs, ② involuntary choice factors for SMEs, ③ career-related perceptions and experience factors, and presented some suggestions for career guidance and SME employment promotion.
