Since the Korea-Japan Treaty of 1910, Korean study books had constantly published to support tasks of Japanese as the Japanese population in the Korean peninsula.
¡°Kokugosengosouzetutsukai (The Book for Fluent Japanese and Korean Communication,¹úÕZõrÕZË«Éàͨ½â)¡± not only kept its role as a Korean study book, but also played the role as a Japanese study book for Koreans. The demands for the book promoted its publication until 7th edition. The reason for its fame was based on its preface written by famous figures, short pages to carry around, contents and composition that made effective learning of the language, the terms and the number of terms for the living and the tasks, the examples that include travel-styled story telling and the appendix that is practical for public affairs. Compare to the study book during Meiji period, the method of communication changed in a way such as increase in the usage of colloquial, decrease in command expression and increase in request expression that illustrate mutual respect between Korea and Japan. Since it is the case, the book can be a useful reference of modern Japan that describe a introduction of Japanese Language to Korea.
