In recent years, in particular, as competition in the social media market accelerates, there is an increasing number of users who complain of fatigue and dissatisfaction due to excessive information and unnecessary relationships. In the situation that there has been continuing researches on various methods to solve these problems, the social curation service that provides the customized information of each user is attracting attention. However, it is the reality that there is not enough content to provide a new user experience different from the existing SNS because of the lack of understanding of the unique characteristics of social curation services. Therefore, this study presented a user experience design model by deriving the factors of user experience and usability improvement on social curation services distinguished from the existing SNS.
In addition, in order to verify the relationship between the derived two factors, research problems, research models and hypotheses were drawn, and experiments and questionnaires were designed. Finally, this study empirically and quantitatively analyzed the correlation between the user experience factors and usability factors presented in this study on the basis of the results of the experiment and the questionnaires. As a result, it was proved that the experience design factors presented in this study have a positive effect on the improvement of the user¡¯s usability in the case of the social curation service experience design.
