In addition, we have attempted to overcome these difficulties and to advance overseas to overcome the limited market, but this is also very limited and ineffective. This study analyzed the present situation of Korean musicals for the successful advancement of Korean musicals by analyzing the โ€˜K-Musical Road Showโ€™ which was the first outbound promotion event held only for domestic performance groups from abroad. As a result, โ€˜K-Musical Road Showโ€™ has established a stable cooperative system by securing and providing a reliable international network that is difficult to carry out in the private sector. In addition, we sought to improve the effectiveness of the event through specific preliminary analysis of the local area, and we focused on major programs in a short period of time to expand our interest in the musical and create a boom. And we encouraged them to explore all-round cooperation projects such as human resource exports, co-production, and IP use rather than simple license sales. In other words, it was confirmed that active promotion in the local area based on thorough market analysis and trustworthy networking can be more effective than participation in the simple event of the existing individual group.
    In addition, โ€˜Outbound Promotion with Special Featureโ€™ through K- Musical Road Show seems to be enough to apply not only to helping our musicals succeed overseas, but also as a stepping stone to raise their status as international contents. Furthermore, it suggested that the genre of pure performing arts such as theater and dance as well as the musical field should actively review ways to build and use such model. Based on this research, we hope that more practical researches will be done specifically for overseas advancement of musicals and other domestic performing arts industries.
