통��분포함수 축방향 의존성에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Axial Dependence of the Traffic Distribution Function)

본 연구의 목적은 통��분포함수 계산 시 적용하는 기준선의 방향과 기준점의 수평위치 및 수직위치에 따라서 통��분포함수가 변하는 양상을 식별하기 위한 것이다. 목포항 입구에 있는 항로를 대상으로 2013년 1월달의 AIS 실측자료를 이용하여 기준선의 방향(θ), 수평위치(LH) 및 수직위치(LV) 등의 3가지 변수가 통��분포함수의 평균(x)과 표준편차(δ)에 미치는 영향을 실험하였다. 실험결과, θ에 따라 추출되는 샘플 데이터가 달라지기 때문에 θ의 변화에 따라서 x왿� δ가 변화됨을 나타냈고, θ에 따른 x왿� δ의 변화는 사인(sine)함수 합의 관계로 도출되었다. 또한 항로가 복잡한 해역에서 최적의 통��분포함수를 결정하기 위해서는 δ의 변화 값이 최소가 되는 θ을 기준선의 방향으로 설정하는 것이 타당함을 알았다. 본 연구의 결과는 정규분포가 보다 더 정량화된 수치로 표현되어 해상교통흐름을 파악하고 해상교통안전관리 의사결정을 위한 기초자료로 활용될 것으로 판단된다.

The purpose of this study is to identify the aspect that the traffic distribution function changes, according to the direction of the datum line and the horizontal and vertical positions of the datum point applied when it is calculated. Targeting routes at the entrance of Mokpo Harbor, this study tested using AIS survey data of January 2013 the effects of the three variablesㅡdirection of the datum line(θ), horizontal position(LH) and vertical position(LV)ㅡon mean (x) and standard deviation (δ). The test result showed that x and δ were changed according to the change of θ, because the extracted sample data were changed according to θ; and the changes of x and δ according to θ were drawn as the relation of the sine function’ sum. In addition, it was found that setting up θ that the change value of δ becomes the least as the direction of the datum line was valid, to determine the optimum passage distribution function on complex waters with multiple branches of route. The result of this study is expected to be used as basic data to understand maritime traffic flow based on more quantified data of normal distribution and make decisions related to maritime traffic safety management.
