According to the report about investigation of applicants¡¯resume in Korea domestic top 100 companies(2014), 95 conglomerates requested to include their applicants¡¯specification such as education, license, foreign language ability, ID photo and career on their resume. Even though these specs are not needful for all kind of jobs, most of the Korean companies require these specs for all of their applicants equally, which occurs competition in building specs. However, these specs are not relevant to the job performance, and the companies are urgently needed to reform recruitment system to beyond spec to guarantee their survival and competitiveness.
Thus, this study suggests recruitment system renovation proposals, which is suitable for Seongnam-si funded institutes A, B, C, and D. The main results of this study are as follows: First, A institute is suggested to a renovative beyond spec recruitment system in order of social recruiting, personality & aptitude test, practical interview, and executive interview.
Second, the purpose of establishment of B institute is promoting cultural development and advancement of cultural arts and cultural welfare. A new recruitment process is proposed to in the order of audition, personality & aptitude test, internship, and executive interview.
Third, C institute has main mission as healthy and creative youth development, it is recommended an innovative recruitment process that include following steps: first is specialty practicum or social recruiting, second is internship, third is beyond spec written test, and finally executive interview.
Lastly, D institute is suggested to a recruiting procedure in the order of social recruiting, personality & aptitude test, working-level interview and executive interview. The mission of the D institute is contributing a better community construction and citizens¡¯s welfare and most of all, human resources who have ideas and creativity are needed. Social recruiting is proper to select talents who have fresh ideas and creativity.
