If we read Choi Chiwon Chinese poems, 4/5 of them use place name noun poetic diction. There is no research on place name as nominative syllabaries in the present study of Choi Chiwon. I think there is a need to pay attention to these noun phrases which are used in Choi Chiwon Chinese poems. The results of the analysis of ��Goun Choi Chiwon Poems�� are summarized as follows.
Geographical nomenclature can be an important evidence for the study of Choi Chiwon's life study, footsteps and exchange relations.
I have seen the possibility that the symbolic of place name noun can be a new subject of the study on Choi Chiwon's literature and his unique spiritual world.
I have seen the use of Choi Chiwon's uniqueness of using place name noun through the characteristics of nominative syllables of Choi Chiwon��s Chinese poems. Choi Chiwon��s poems are so similar with the using of Penglai as a new mountain in the Tang poetry. In other respects, Choi Chiwon's Penglai has the meaning of symbolizing the Silla and the Ulji area. It is also seen that the same nominative theoretician is used for the life with many twists and turns through the using of place symbolization such as Yangjae and Penglai.
