The purpose of this study is to investigate the relationship between clothing-related lifestyle and food-related lifestyle. The data were collected between May and June 2017 from 321 male and female college students in their¡¯s 20¡¯s, living in Gyeongnam. The data have been analyzed by using SPSS program. The methods of factor analysis, reliability analysis, ANOVA, Duncan-test, and correlation analysis have been adopted for the data analysis.
The results of this study are as followings: The factors of clothing-related lifestyles consist of five dimensions of fashion interest, importance of clothing, brand orientation, individuality pursuit, and importance of economy efficiency. The factors of food-related lifestyles consist of six dimensions of health pursuit, Korean food preference, plan and careful purchase, fast food orientation, epicurism, and serious consideration of price.
It appears to be different between clothing- related lifestyles and food-related lifestyles, subject to general characteristics. It appears to be clothing-related lifestyles are interrelated with food-related lifestyles. Especially, health pursuit and epicurism of food-related lifestyles exert a noticeable relationship on clothing-related lifestyles. It is highly expected that this study is used as the useful sources of lifestyle shop and complex shopping mall.
