In order to closely grasp the psychology of Eileen Chang, the subject of creation, this thesis looked into her childhood and dark family history. First, the psychological effect of the parents' upbringing environment on the formation of Eileen Chang�� personality was examined closely. In addition, her work, which is considered to be closely related to the process of forming her own personality, was analyzed by focusing on the psychology of her characters and the creative psychology of her writer. Next, through the marriage and divorce of her patriarchal father and her mother, who was a new woman, the conflict and mixture of old and new cultures Eileen Chang�� experienced was examined.
