Neoliberalism promotes low wages and high inequality, and leads to global environmental crisis. Neoliberalism structure increases man¡¯s greed of gain without limitation. Because this structure is oppose to the teachings of Buddha. We can dissolve this structure through worker¡¯s refusal of labour or citizen¡¯s moderation of consumption. Marxism is the most valuable theory while practicing the former: Buddhism for the latter. So, while synthesizing Buddhism and Marxism, I propose to the socioeconomics of Hwajaeng as the alternative for Neo-liberalism.
Realizing that all men are in the relation of dependent origination, we come naturally to moderate his desire voluntarily for the other of the ¡®we¡¯ as much as parents make great sacrifices for their children. The socioeconomics of Hwajaeng seek after the sharing of wealth.
Realizing that all lives are interact with each other, we learn to understand that Nature is not the object of exploitation but the part of coexistence. The socioeconomics of Hwajaeng pursues the ecologic symbiosis.
