    The purpose of this study is to give an comparative investigation on Kant's Achtung and Heidegger's Stimmung in order to obtain the hermeneutical meaning of Feeling in philosophy. In western philosophical tradition, Feeling is not a good factor of human's spirit for its inferiority to Reason. But Plato acknowledges a special Feeling like "Thaumazein" because philosophy is born out of it. These discussions of good Feeling later succeed to philosophy of Stoa, Spinoza, and M. Scheler. In Stoa's philosophy, "Noble Pathos" has the same importance as Will which follows World Reason. In Spinoza ethics, there is "Positive Affektus" which has the same meaning intellectio sub specie aeterni. And M. Scheler, in modern philosophical anthropology, emphasizes Feeling of Sympathy which is origin of culture and value.
    In Kant's critical synthesis of philosophical tradition, the problem of Feeling is situated in "Sinnlichkeit", "Gef¨¹hl", "Verm?gen des Wollens und Affekt". Sinnlichkeit as cognitive faculty gives data to human's cognition but it in itself is confusion and sometimes deceptive for it depends on sense organ. Gef¨¹hl as aesthetic judgement is reflective judgement which is universal communication possibility of cognitive harmony by imagination. And Vem?gen des Wollens und Affekt is important Feeling in ethical dimension. Especially Achtung(Reverence) is specific Feeling which obeys moral principle of Reason. So Achtung is not passive Feeling out of sense organ but positive and transcendental Feeling out of Reason. In ethical Achtung, we could estimate that Kant is conscious of the importance of Feeling in spite of his vindication of Reason.
    In Heidegger, Feeling is not the fact of Human but that of Sein. In other words, Feeling in Heidegger ontological Stimmung which we already have in the world with preceding subjective Feeling. So Stimmung is not predicative and propositional Feeling, but pre-predicative and pre-propositional Feeling, d.i. ontological Feeling.
    According to Heidegger's philosophy, the concept of Stimmung has a little bit changed by so called "Kehre". In fundamental ontology before Kehre, Stimmung is Befindlichkeit that Dasein is thrown in the world and after Kehre, Stimmung is Grundstimmung that answers Ereignis of Sein. The former reveals Sinn des Sein(the meaning of Being) in Angst and Langeweile, while the latter answers the still sound of Sein in the form of Erschrecken, Verhalten, Scheuen, Schweigen. So Heidegger's Stimmung could be estimated to find the Origin of Feeling.
    In consequence, we can know that good Feeling in western philosophy is traditionally acknowledged in spite of underestimation of Feeling, that Kant as traditional successor of philosophy is aware of the importance of Feeling in ethical Achtung while he synthesizes philosophy with Reason, and that Heidegger find the origin of Feeling and give us real appearance of Feeling as ontological Feeling.
