    The purpose of this study is to enhance the job satisfaction of railway employees by identifying the environment and the structural relationship of individual variables. To that end, data concerning 656 railway employees were analyzed. The correlation and structural model were analyed by SPSS 23.0, AMOS 22.0. The verification revealed a significant positive correlation between job fit, positive psychology capital, and job satisfaction, and proved the suitability of the structural model by which the job fit of railway employees had effects on their job satisfaction by the mediation of positive psychology capital. In addition, it was proved that the direct effect of job fit on job satisfaction and the indirect effect of job fit on job satisfaction by the mediation of positive psychology capital were all significant, thus showing a partial mediating effect of positive psychology capital in the relationship between job fit and job satisfaction. Thus, related agencies should establish a good human resources management system designed to appropriately assign employees to right jobs by considering individuals and their job fit, to offer appropriate education according to their jobs, and to reinforce their positive psychology capital. Based on the findings of this study, major implications of this study and follow-up studies were discussed.
