This study dealt with the books published by Eunjin Ssanggye Temple, which was considered a temple representing the Hoseo area during the Joseon Dynasty. According to the survey, Ssanggyesa��s publishing activities started with Gobonghwasangsunyo in 1565, and in the 16th century there were 14 kinds of Buddhist books published. In the 17th century, there were six publishing activities due to the decrease in frequency. In the 18th century, there was no longer a case of temple publication after the publication of the first type. The theme of books published in temples was the publication of Zen books eight out of a total of 21 publishing cases. In addition, most of the other practical books were used such as Bubhwagyeong and Eunjoonggyung, which is necessary for the temple��s event, and Joongryeumoon, Gyulsoomoon. One of the biggest features of publishing Ssanggyesa is that, first of all, the publication of Zen books accounts for nearly 40 percent of the total. And there is an example of the active use of private publishing by wealthy sponsors in the publishing of Buddhist scriptures. It is believed to have shared or collaborated with individuals to publish money and people if it is not possible to raise money directly at the temple or to recruit people. Circumstances like this are regarded as a characteristic way of publishing Ssanggyesa, which distinguishes it from the publishing activities of other temples.
